About Amicus
Amicus is a small practice in Trivandrum, run by a team of five. Each of us plays a different part in your time with us — from the first message you send, through the consultation and procedure, to the dressings and follow-up afterwards. None of these parts is more important than the others. We try to make sure that whoever you meet at Amicus, you are met with the same care.

Anidev
Anidev is usually the first person you will speak to. He handles enquiries on WhatsApp and over the phone, helps you understand what to expect, and arranges your appointment. He is warm, sincere, and patient with questions — which is the right person to be at the start of a process that can feel uncertain.
Prasanna
Prasanna is the care coordinator at Amicus. She has over thirty years of nursing experience across major hospitals, and she runs the day-to-day of the clinic and looks after patients from the moment they arrive. Many of our patients describe her as a stand-in mother during their time with us — she is calm, attentive, and knows what each person needs without being asked. The clinic does not run without her.
Dr. Unnikrishnan S
Unnikrishnan is the plastic surgeon at Amicus. He trained at Government Medical College Trivandrum (MBBS), JIPMER Pondicherry (MS), and the Sir Jamshedjee Jeejeebhoy Group of Hospitals, Mumbai (MCh in Plastic Surgery), and has practised plastic and reconstructive surgery for sixteen years. He is also a consultant plastic surgeon at a teaching hospital in Trivandrum. He is a member of ISAPS, IAAPS, and the Rhinoplasty Society of India. He sees you in consultation, performs the procedure, and stays involved through your recovery.
Latha
Latha is the physician assistant at Amicus and part of the operating theatre team. You will often see her during follow-up visits, particularly when dressings need to be changed. She is steady, precise, and brings a quiet competence to the parts of recovery that matter most.
Renju
Renju takes care of housekeeping at Amicus. Her work is the part you may notice least and that matters most — a clean clinic is the foundation of safe surgical care, and she is the reason ours is.
Anesthesia
For procedures that require general anesthesia, we work with experienced freelance anesthetists who join our team for the day. We choose carefully and have worked with the same small group for many years.
